Strategy:Initially, we had an empty account. As a strategy to attract the audience, we chose to host our own contests and marathons.
We needed to accomplish two tasks:
- Attract a relevant target audience to the profile
- Monetize the salon as quickly as possible
To achieve this, we launched viral events (marathons, contests, discounts for comments, limited-time offers with reduced prices) and set up targeting with high frequency and wide coverage of the entire target audience.
Why targeting and not bloggers, post tags, story tags, or direct messaging? Only through targeting can you attract truly active and relevant audiences for specialized commercial accounts. It’s a classic story — slow, inexpensive, but high-quality!
*Note: In the case of the tattoo studio, this approach worked, but if you have an unlimited budget, you can buy ads from influencers and collaborate with them. Unfortunately, you can never be 100% sure about the quality of the target audience when it comes to celebrities.
